THE WAYBACK STORY.

Once upon a time...

No, literally....The movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"--a Quentin Tarantino masterpiece--provided a cinematic window to life in the late '60s: The fashion. The cars. The sound of the "Boss Jocks" on 93 KHJ, Los Angeles, complete with vintage jingles, spots, and, of course, the hits. The film is, among other things, Tarantino's love letter to the 1960s.

Wayback Radio recreates this magic. Through the wonders of modern day technology (ironically!), the past comes to life as we bring back the sound of classic Top 40 AM radio. You'll hear the hits of course, but unlike most local "oldies" stations, you won't hear the same songs on endless repeat. If it charted in the U.S. Top 40 charts in the late '50s, '60s, or '70s, you'll hear it on Wayback. Plus the nostalgic elements that made the Top 40 stations of the era so exciting to listen to: personalities, jingles, and an energy that many of today's stations lack.

Above all else, radio should be fun. We sincerely hope that you have as much fun listening to Wayback as we have bringing it to you!

That's the Wayback story...now we'd love to hear your story. Click the "Get in Touch" link below to send us a message. Let us know which Top 40 station(s) helped to define your past, and a song or two that you'd love to hear.

Keep it on always,
